모스 네트워크는 2024년 11월 설립된 국제 NGO로써, 초국가적 시각에서 다양한 사회 문제를 분석하고 다학제적 접근을 통해 대안을 모색하고 실천하는 국제 청년들의 연대체입니다.
언제부턴가 우리 사회는 함께 살아가는 법을 잊은 채, 타인에 대한 존중과 포용 대신 혐오와 배척으로 지독히도 분열되었습니다. 저 스스로에게, 그리고 여러분께 묻습니다.
한 번의 젊음, 어찌할 것인가.
국가의 위기 앞에 젊음을 바친 수많은 성인 (聖人)들의 정신을 되새기며, 미래 세대를 위해 젊음을 기꺼이 바칩니다.
모스 네트워크의 시작은 이분법적 사고를 넘어, 서로를 적이 아닌 동료로 존중하며 협력과 협치를 통해 합의점을 찾아가는 데에 있습니다. 바위 틈 가장자리에 뿌리내려 거대한 생태계를 이뤄나가는 이끼처럼, 우리의 연대가 틈과 틈을 메워 진정한 사회 통합을 이뤄낼 수 있길 소망합니다.
In the time we are given, how shall we live?
The Moss Network, founded in November 2024, is an international fellowship of people who dare to look beyond borders. We come together to reflect on the challenges of our time, to share knowledge across disciplines, and to seek alternatives that are not only imagined but lived.
Somewhere along the way, our societies have forgotten the art of living together. Respect has faded, compassion has been overshadowed by hatred, and unity has been replaced by division.
The Moss Network begins with a promise: to move beyond narrow divisions; to see one another not as enemies but as companions, not as rivals but as partners. Through cooperation and shared vision, we strive to find common ground.
Like moss that takes root in the smallest cracks, patient yet unyielding, spreading until it forms a living carpet that weaves the stones into one, may our solidarity grow across the fractures of our world. And may the smallest acts of unity give rise to a vast ecology of reconciliation and hope.
